Written out of the author’s awareness of the problems many students and young researchers encounter when writing their research papers, this book is a simplified presentation of the fundamentals of research. Its technically simple style is aimed at making the book accessible to people of all academic persuasions. Most research studies or projects begin with a written proposal. For this reason, the book starts with a section on how to write a good standard research proposal. In the second section, the book discusses in detail the way in which a research project, dissertation or thesis must be outlined once the research proposal has been accepted. Chapter three looks specifically at a journal paper/article as another very important type of research paper. It gives a brief survey of important points to bear in mind when writing a journal article as well as the structure such a paper is expected to follow. Chapter four is a brief presentation of some of the methods of citation and reference styles commonly used in research.

In her first nonfiction book, award-winning novelist Yiyun Li explores the questions we ask ourselves as readers and writers, as citizens and solitary travelers, as parents and children: How does one make life livable? How do writing and reading bring us solace, and help us embrace the conflicts of our daily reality? Tracing the course of her life from China to America, and from biologist to writer, Li reflects with startling generosity and humanity on the writers who have shaped her--William Trevor, Katherine Mansfield, Marianne Moore, Ivan Turgenev, Stefan Zweig, and more.
“The poems presented here explore the themes that concern us all, regardless of age and country. Love, the meaning of life, faith, Time, our relations with other people… Poetry is a philosophical inquiry into one’s life. This inquiry, however, is of artistic nature, as we do not merely lay out our emotions and ideas, but we present them as an image, an allegory, which the reader has to decipher in order to comprehend and show empathy” – Julia Shuvalova.
The book accumulates some of my research publications in diverse fields like Electronics, Algorithm, Musical Rhythms, Control and Robotics. The publications are based on various projects which I have experimented during my last five years of study. Some of the projects were acted by my own cogitation and others are from various projects and assignments. The Bangla Clock was my first project which was designed and experimented successfully. The project was amazing and published in ICCIT 2005. Mathematical and Geometrical Analysis of Musical Rhythms was done as my BSc. thesis and published in ICICT 2007. After that I extended the work and proposed a novel classification system based on Multi-Polygonal model and published in ICCCE 2008 and ICCDA 2009. Unicode Searching Algorithm was developed by my own interest where a multilevel binary tree was designed. The other works including Mobile Robot, Wall Climbing Robot, control of Flexible Manipulator and Inverted Pendulum, Power Steering System were experimented as assignments during my course work in Masters. The review paper on Humanoid Systems was published in IJRA 2010 which was a part of my MSc. thesis work.
