This work presents an IPv6-based mobility support scheme for vehicular scenarios. The focus of this study is on the modelling of an efficient network layer handover scheme suitable for vehicular network environments. In order to achieve this, a Vehicular Fast handovers for Mobile IPv6 (VFMIPv6) network layer protocol has been proposed. This scheme employs the predictive mode of Fast handovers for Mobile IPv6 (FMIPv6) standard. The proposed VFMIPv6 scheme aims at reducing the long handover latency currently affecting the performance of ITS delay-sensitive applications which lead to degradation in overall QoS. The proposed scheme adopts the concept of sectorisation using directional antennas. The GPS devices mounted on vehicles aid in keeping track of the vehicles' real-time mobility parameters so as to reduce the delay due to the Router discovery process. Furthermore, the proposed scheme exploits the huge IPv6 address space such that each On-board Unit and each Subnet Access Router is assigned a permanent global IPv6 address with which it is reachable regardless of its location. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the current standard solutions.

This research address the relationship between schematic beliefs and the presence of depression symptoms as well as its effect on self-esteem among schizophrenic patients. It was suggested that emotion distress play a significant role in development of positive symptom .The first prediction is that the content of delusions and hallucinations will reflect emotional concerns. The second prediction is that delusions and hallucinations will be maintained by psychological processes that have traditionally been associated with emotional disorders.so this study aimed to address the relationship among these component. Specially, it remains unclear how negative schematic beliefs and emotional dysfunction interact in psychosis. understanding of cognitive and emotional factors relevant to delusions has been accompanied by advancements in psychological treatment.

In computer networking, the term IP address spoofing or IP spoofing refers to the creation of Internet Protocol (IP) packets with a forged source IP address, called spoofing, with the purpose of concealing the identity of the sender or impersonating another computing system. HIV+ persons experience distress from the disease and the economic and medical management issues that impact their quality of life. Distress has been shown to negatively impact the immune system in many studies. The purpose of this study was to test an Ericksonian hypnosis intervention designed to reduce distress and relieve the immune system. Forty HIV persons were randomly assigned to either the hypnosis audiotape intervention group or the assessment-only control group. Psychosocial and immunological measures were taken before and after the intervention. Although there were no significant intervention effects, other intriguing findings suggest future paths for research. Frequency of audiotape listening was significantly related to changes in viral load. There was a highly significant correlation at baseline between both total mood disturbance and anger with subsequent increases in viral load being associated with high anger and mood disturbance at baseline. Researchers and others interested in the use of hypnosis to effect changes in behaviors, moods and the immune system will find this study informative and suggestive of future directions in this area of mind-body research.
The socioeducational model, for about four decades, had dominated the research agenda of second language (L2) learning motivation. However, through a variety of scientific studies, scholars found it was necessary to develop the model in order to accurately and sufficiently interpret motivation of L2 learners. In response to this need, Dornyei (2005) proposed the L2 motivational self system to address L2 motivation from the perspective of L2 self. The validity of the system has been verified with English as a foreign language learners, yet unknown with learners of other languages. This study, as first-ever, investigates Chinese heritage and nonheritage learners to examine if the L2 motivational self system can be expanded to learners of a language other than English. The ?ndings demonstrate that the perspective of L2 self provides new insights into the motivation of general foreign language learners, and heritage and nonheritage learners’ comparison. Useful pedagogical implications are provided corresponding to the ?ndings. This study should be helpful for researchers of L2 motivation and acquisition, and instructors of Chinese and other languages.
